Only in this life will you encounter hitches
The type of many that can spread around
Even with a strong heart it's still hard to pound
Beat out the ugly and beat out the hate
They say only us people can choose our fate
But there are people like me who know so much more
So don't think that's all that you stand for
We are so many things that can't be deemed
It only helps with our self esteem
There is not a no and not a yes
But deep in the heart you need to regress
Back up to the moment you thought of now
When you are through you'll want to skip town
There are so many things that can't be controlled
