Love of a Writer

Engrossed by my own demand I give in to the demands of my hands
Oh how the pen is clasped like lovers placed together in time as a symphony
Without the music playing there is no song to move my feet
Standing parallel to my lovers well
I feed upon his release
Take the breath that comes from me as I take your pity
The flames erupt and you had enough
Yet I call and beg for more
Kiss the depths of me whole as I linger on to your soul
You're engraved in me as I am you
What can I do but sub score?
I feed into you as you eat my platter with delight
Relish the place where we became one
Once when I was the pen in your hand
